NYU ORLHS Summer Housing promotional posters project involved creating marketing materials to promote on-campus housing options in New York City and Washington D.C. during the summer recess. The goal was to inform undergraduates about the availability and convenience of summer housing while guiding them toward additional informative resources. The design process began with research to identify key factors influencing students' decision to opt for summer housing. Based on these findings, different slogans and taglines were created to be incorporated into the design.
Digital mockups were created using Adobe Illustrator. These designs were then iterated based on feedback from the housing services team to ensure the messaging was clear. The promotional posters effectively increased awareness and interest in summer housing options for NYU and non-NYU-affiliated students, resulting in higher occupancy rates than previous years. The comprehensive design successfully communicated the benefits of on-campus housing, leading to a positive response from undergraduates.
